Devil's Den and Little Round Top
In an effort to recreate a 99 year old family photo, I visited the Devil's Den and Little Round Top areas of the Gettysburg National Military Park early one February morning.
See the story on the family photograph that prompted the visit by clicking here.

Gettysburg
Great to see these pictures. I have been thinking/hoping to get over and take pictures around the battlefield. I was there one day in January but it was raining lightly and I didn't take any pictures.
Thanks, John
Thanks for stopping by and checking them out, John. Head over early on a Saturday morning; I was there for 40 minutes without running into anyone.
Gettysburg
These are very nicely done. I like the picture of LIttle Rountop with the clouds in the background. I was there a couple of years ago and the wind chill was brutal, so I jumped out took a few snaps and jumped back in the car. There were many people there but they were all inside. :) Here is what I saw.

I enjoyed the pictures of
I enjoyed the pictures of Devil's Den,especially the one with the people. My own grandparents honeymooned in Gettysburg and we also have pictures of them at the same spot. They traveled in a horse drawn buggy from Somerset, which I really can't imagine. I have always found it to be a very quiet spot. When I was in high school,my friends and I would gather there on a snowy night to go sledding. Fun times!
You do great work, Andy!
Sledding...
What a great place to go sledding! Love it, as well as the thought of Somerset to Gettysburg trip.
Glad you stopped by, Judy!
